Irmina Ulysse's DAFA (Dance Folklore Artisanal) is a Caribbean-based dance focusing on core movements, isolations and specific foot work that inspire participants to dance fully and expressively using all body parts. DAFA is inspired by her grandmother who was one of her first teachers.

Investment: $25 in-advance (paid in full online) or $30 the day of the class This pricing is per class. This is an 8 week series starting Feb 2nd and running every Friday evening until March 23rd.

Dance Facilitator Bio:
Irmina Ulysse is a performance artist, coach, writer, philosopher and lecturer. As a dancer, she facilitates a no pressure, fun, and Afro-Caribbean based dance wisdom experience for all ages. As a wisdom keeper, she facilitates earth honoring women programs for self-development. These two intertwine to help create a dance experience that's deeply intuitive and healing. Irmina has been dancing since childhood and actively pursued dance as a career since 1977 . She has been developing and nurturing her facilitation style since 1997. Her life's mission is to help women use ancient secrets and tools to radiate a more authentic, confident, harmonious and elegant self. Her professional background includes over a decade in the wellness industry as director, personal trainer, group exercise instructor and disease prevention coach and facilitator.
She is an lifelong learner with a degree in international business and a long list of certifications and training in positive psychology, meditation, and coaching. As a writer, she has self published metaphysical fiction and non-fiction works and is currently working on her next book.
