About The Event
A sonic environment is created using a variety of instruments including quartz crystal and Himalayan bowls, gong and rain stick, along with mantra, vocal toning and chant. Every sound journey is different as it is essentially an intuitive process requiring deep sensitivity as to what is needed and the choice of sounds used. The instruments are played around and over you, and sometimes on you, so you can feel the vibrations of the instruments. Sound with heartfelt intention bypasses the analytical hemisphere of the brain allowing the creative and intuitive hemisphere to have free reign. Harmonic sound incites a deep relaxation and letting go as the tones act as keys to unlock denser energy held within the physical, emotional and etheric bodies and the unconscious mind.
Be sure to bring pillows, blankets and anything else you require to be comfortable.
Bio: Patricia Norton
Meditation and the healing power of voice and mantra to enhance human energy systems, as well as Agnihotra, an ancient practice performed at sunrise and sunset, has been a part of Patricia’s spiritual unfoldment since she was a teenager. Many holistic modalities such as Access Consciousness, Causal Realignment, Usui, Karuna and Holy Fire Reiki, and Andean Shamanism further enhance her healing practice. As the founder of Sound Immersion LLC. she has been sharing the potency of Sound through her group and private sessions, transformative retreats and certified trainings since 2008. Patricia also administers sound healing therapies at the Cancer Institute at Sinai Hospital. It is her passion to create a journey - to place where the mind is empty and the Sound is full, unlocking the emotions held within cellular memory, thus, balancing the body, mind and spirit. Patricia resides on a 28 acre farm in Westminster, Maryland where she deeply communes with the sacredness of land, water, the ancient oaks, cows and wildlife.
