Sahffi Lynne and her sister Shelly Work are excited to offer to you their "Medicine Music Meditation," a unique concert experience. Rather than applause after every song, audiences will be invited to sit in silent meditation. Listening to live music and poetry in this meditative way allows the listener to absorb the vibration of the sound and meanings of the words in a more profound way.

Please bring yoga mats, pillows, and or blankets to make yourself comfortable during the meditation. Chairs will be provided if you prefer to sit.

About Sahffi & Shelly:

Sahffi & Shelly are sisters who have been singing together since they were children, enjoying family sing-a-longs in harmony around campfires. Both are professional musicians, Sahffi an international singer/songwriter trained at the Peabody Conservatory, and Shelly a music and drama teacher at a prestigious private school on Capital Hill in DC, trained at the Shenandoah Conservatory. They have sung in bands together over the past 10 years and have worked on recordings together. Their current band, "OverGlow" (http://www.facebook.com/overglowband) recently played at El Festival de Musica Medicina in Pisac, Peru. Their current recording project is Sahffi’s sixth album, due out in the fall of 2019. They are truly honored and joyful to sing together and to offer this Medicine Music Meditation to you!
