Does the Ionic Foot Bath Work?

If you look up ionic foot baths, you will find a wide range of information that will leave you feeling very confused about how these machines work as well as the possible benefits doing a session. Some say they work very well and others say they are a waste of time and money. I have had a lot of experience doing them personally as well as professionally, and I absolutely love them! I have had great results using them for my own health issues and I have had MANY reports from clients of improved health and wellbeing.

The body is built to detoxify on its own. However, not only are some people genetically more at risk in their ability to detoxify, we are bombarded by toxins at an ever increasing rate in our environment. These toxins can really stress out the body because it operates in a toxin in vs. toxin out capacity. Many with chronic illness find that focusing their recovery on assisting their body with detoxification brings the greatest results. Ionic foot baths can be an easy, safe and effective way to assist the body with detoxification.

An ionic foot bath combines water, salt and a small electrical current to produce charged ionic energy that cleanses at the cellular level, charges the cells, and promotes detoxification of free radicals and toxins. The toxins are flushed out of the body by the lymphatic system through the excretory system over the next 24-48 hours.

There is disagreement about whether or not toxins come out into the tub during a session. What I can tell you is that everyone's foot bath looks different. Some are really thick and full of various colors while others are much thinner in consistency and not very colorful. Also, when my clients do weekly sessions, it's common to see that their foot baths get less thick and less colorful as the weeks go by. And, as they feel better and better, the water gets less and less thick.

I'm putting some links below that I find intriguing and backup much of what I have experienced with these sessions. If you are curious and want to see if the ionic foot bath might be helpful for you, come in and try it out!
